History

DLG’s history details the journey of digital pioneers who, at the dawn of the 21st Century, founded IC-Agency, one of the first European companies specialized in digital marketing. At that time, Google AdWords, Twitter and blogs did not exist, and the Internet community as a whole was barely half that of the Facebook community today.

DLG was born out of an entrepreneurial vision driven by a profound conviction: digital technology will change the lives of human beings completely and permanently — how they think, learn, consume and interact, forcing brands to adapt and reinvent their ways of communicating.

Based in Geneva, capital of fine watchmaking and the birthplace of the World Wide Web, the company, co-founded by David Sadigh, naturally developed within the luxury sector. In a little over a decade, the company produced seven editions of the WorldWatchReport, undertook over 300 projects for loyal customers who are the standard-bearers of their respective industries, and was awarded the prestigious Stratégis prize for innovation, accomplishment and expansion. With this unparalleled luxury brand experience and with a view to its future growth, IC-Agency Geneva officially became the Digital Luxury Group on May 9th, 2011.

On this date, a new chapter began, that of the company’s international development – newly emblazoned with the three initials, “DLG”, as a symbol of its commitment to excellence in Luxury Intelligence around the world.
